What our software never stores
- Your name, email address or IP address.
- Your browser or device details.
- The names of files you send. Those sit inside the encrypted package only our editors open.
- Your codename. Only a one-way derived value reaches us, so the codename itself stays with you.
What we do not use
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social media widgets.
- No cookies for visitors. Only staff who log in to manage the site receive a login cookie.
- No outside fonts, scripts or content networks. Every file on this site comes from this site.
What our host records
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which usually include visitor IP addresses. We do not control those logs. This is the main reason we ask sources to use Tor Browser, which keeps your real address out of every log.
What we keep, and for how long
- Sealed submissions: deleted from the server after 90 days. Editors move them offline first.
- Mailbox messages: kept sealed until the conversation ends, then deleted.
- Published documents: kept permanently, as public records.
